How to Get to Canmore

If there is air travel in your plans, it will be necessary for you to fly into the Calgary Airport. From there, you may choose to rent a vehicle (71.2 miles, about 1 hour 23 minutes) or take a shuttle.

If you are driving from the Calgary Airport:

  1. Head north on 19 St NE toward Airport Trail NE E.
  2. Take the 1st left onto Airport Trail NE W.
  3. Take the ramp onto AB-2 S.
  4. Take exit 258 for AB-1 W/Trans Canada Highway.
  5. Merge onto 16 Ave NE/Trans-Canada Hwy/AB-1 W. Continue to follow Trans-Canada Hwy/AB-1 W.
  6. Take exit 91 toward Canmore.
  7. Merge onto Bow Valley Trail/Alberta 1A W.
  8. At the roundabout, continue straight to stay on Bow Valley Trail/Alberta 1A W. The hotel is on the right.
